The Israel-based Tadiran recently announced the Bank of Investment and Development of Vietnam has picked its solutions to deploy throughout its operations. Under the terms of the deal, Tadiran will provide an IP telephony network of 60 systems and sites throughout Vietnam. The project is valued at over $3 million. The network will allow all of the Bank's branches to communicate toll free utilizing voice over IP (VoIP) telephony and IP Telephones. Because the network architecture resembles a private network, every phone has a four digit number within the network, enabling seamless communication between branches, according to the company. "Vietnam is one of the fastest growing ICT markets in the world. Vietnamese companies and institutions seek the cost-efficiency and flexibility provided by IP telephony networks and we are happy to oblige." said Zeev Aviv, vice president of Sales and Marketing at Tadiran Telecom.
